I recently opened an account with SmartCrowd and transferred funds to their EBAD account. Initially, I was concerned due to a lack of updates on my wallet status and fund allocation, which created some anxiety as a first-time user. The process felt unclear, and I believe more proactive communication during these key steps would help build trust—especially for new investors. However, after sharing my feedback, a team member personally reached out to me to acknowledge the concerns and offer support. I appreciate the direct follow-up and the effort to maintain a personal connection with clients, which shows that the team does genuinely care. Overall, while my onboarding experience could have been smoother, I believe SmartCrowd has potential. With a bit more transparency and timely communication, the platform could offer a much more reassuring experience to its users.

Interface of the platform is good. One can use the platform to diversify their funds using SC’s crowdfunding model in Dubai’s Real Estate market.

I signed up for smartcrowd. It is a really cool concept but unfortunately, getting a hold of someone with the company is not easy. On their website, they said they would get back to you within 1 business day, and 3 days later, I have yet to receive a response. I also reached out via their WhatsApp channel, and the same in terms of no response or support. Overall, it is a cool concept, but I signed up and did all the verification to not be able to make a purchase through their platform. Test everything out before you deposit a large amount of money into your Smartcrowd wallet to ensure you don't face any issues.

When corporate greed kicks in, things go south. And I think that’s what’s happening with SmartCrowd. - you sign up on basis of balanced / long-term ; they end up giving the apartment to HAVN/their own Airbnb management company (so clear conflict of interest) which generates lesser returns to investors. They say it’s until they find a tenant, but two months in. Still the case. - you inquire about various fees being charged, they never come back with clear answers I’m sure if they get properly audited, a lot of mess is happening. Needs a lot more clear processes to bring back investor trust. I can see this going downhill easily. No transparency, conflict of interest and not putting investor return at the heart of your objectives is just wrong.
