SRTIP Accelerator - Business Setup and Licensing in Dubai

I’d like to recommend Afsana from SRTIP Accelerator. At first, I was hesitant to proceed with my application due to some of the negative reviews I had read. However, I took a leap of faith and decided to push through with it. I began my license application on May 6, and everything—including the bank account opening—was finalized by May 30. I understand there was a slight delay, as Sharjah government offices operate only from Monday to Thursday. Overall, I appreciate Afsana’s support and her colleagues for the guidance throughout the entire process.

While our experience started with some challenges, I’m happy to say that the SRTIP Accelerator team took our concerns seriously and resolved the issue professionally. The process of getting my licence and visa took 2 months. Email communication was short and processes/dependencies intransparent. The simplest of questions were often not answered directly. High charge for registering Corporate tax (takes little more than 30 min doing it yourself). Asking for an extra payment for assisting with bankaccount setup, yet it was promised additionally free as part of the business licence package setup. There are other deliverables which did not go as smooth. Definitely has me wondering whether it might have been wiser paying a premium for a more renown freezone.
