I had the absolute joy of fostering a sweet female dog from Stray Dog Centre Shelter, and the experience has been nothing short of wonderful. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly supportive, kind, and clearly passionate about the animals in their care. The dog I brought home was gentle and a little shy at first, but it was clear she had already received so much love and care from her rescuer and the dedicated volunteers. With their support and guidance, she settled in beautifully and quickly became part of the family. Stray Dog Centre doesn’t just provide temporary shelter—they offer these dogs a true second chance at a happy life. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to foster and to be part of such a meaningful mission. If you’re considering adopting, fostering, or supporting a shelter, I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are doing truly incredible, life-changing work. 🐾❤️

We recently adopted a dog from Stray Dogs Center. Right from the beginning everyone was helpful, making sure we got to meet our girl that weekend and bring our older dog along. Throughout her adoption trial they kept in contact and were super helpful, arranging our home visit around our schedule. Clearly everyone who is involved cares deeply about all of the beautiful dogs here and I would recommend everyone who is looking to adopt to use Stray Dogs Center! Thank you!

We adopted our beautiful Alaska from the Stray Dog Center, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The team is absolutely amazing—so caring, dedicated, and genuinely full of love for every single dog. From the very first moment, we could see how much heart and soul they put into their mission. It’s not just a shelter—it’s a place of hope, second chances, and true compassion. Thank you for everything you do, and for bringing Alaska into our lives!

I cannot express enough gratitude to Stray Dog Center for the incredible work they do in rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding loving homes for animals in need. Their dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to every stray they take in is truly inspiring. A special thank you to Fiona and Seema, whose patience, support, and guidance made my adoption journey so smooth and heartwarming. Thanks to them, I was able to welcome the beautiful Bianca into my home, and she has already filled my life with so much love and joy. From the very first interaction, it was clear that this organization goes above and beyond for every animal in their care. They ensure that each pet finds the right home, not just any home, making sure both the adopters and the animals are perfectly matched. The compassion and dedication of the entire team are nothing short of extraordinary. Thank you, Stray Dog Center, for everything you do. Your work changes lives—not just for the animals but for the people lucky enough to adopt them. Bianca is a true blessing, and I owe it all to you! Keep up the amazing work! If I could rate them 10,000 stars, I absolutely would! Thank you for everything you do! ❤️

We adopted Luna (Desert Special) and Charlie (Cocker Spaniel) from SDC. The support throughout the process was outstanding. Before SDC rescued them, Luna and Charlie both experienced abuse and mistreatment. Luna was rescued from a dangerous situation with acid burns on her back, and Charlie was surrendered to SDC with clear signs (and scars) of neglect and mistreatment. I am so grateful that SDC stepped in to save them both (as they do for countless other dogs). I can't imagine our family without either of them. There are almost 1500 dogs at SDC desperately waiting for the chance to have a family of their own. If you have considered adopting, or even fostering for a few weeks or more, please reach out to SDC or visit them at their adoption event at The Pet Shop in DIP every Saturday, 11am - 1pm!
