Swades Vegetarian Restaurant

I’m a gujju, who came here while she was craving for gujju food. Ordered something as basic as “gujarati kadhi khichdi” which is very difficult to get wrong, but these people served punjabi kafhi without pakodas, and there’s no gujju here so I can’t even explain how this is not gujarati kadhi, really disappointed 🥲 The sev khamani was good! Appreciate it! Mainly I came for Gujarati kadhi khichdi hence the poor review.

Ordered Masala and Cheese Dosa and Aalu Paratha from here. What they served is crap. Wasted my mood to eat dosa and money. The sambar was spoil. Who serves green watery chutney with dosa? Thw white chutney had bubbles and tasted awful (just coconut grinded in water) masala felt like leftover aalu matar sabzi.

This is a new addition to the city's eating joints, a vegetarian restaurant. I'd like to give special mention to the portion sizes. You'll need to go on an empty stomach to enjoy their enormous portions. They are not on Zomato Gold yet, maybe sometime. The outside seating is quite nice in this weather. The price point is good. Worth a try.
