The Avenue Club

. Wasn’t expecting much when we walked in, but wow — the whole night was a vibe. The music was a perfect mix of old-school and fresh beats. Super danceable. And the food? Legit good. Not just random bar snacks, but actual tasty stuff. Great service too. Will 100% be back!
Music was straight fire the whole night. The DJ didn’t let the energy drop even once. What surprised me was how solid the food was. Usually, you go to a club and just get some random frozen snacks. But this place? Full menu, made fresh, and actually tasty. Perfect for taking a break between sets. Loved the atmosphere — not too packed, just the right amount of buzz.
The lady and the two men at the door were extremely disrespectful. We had clearly contacted the club via Instagram to find out when we could enter. We are a group of three women, and this is the second time something like this has happened. They were rude and didn’t even look at us. Their Instagram said entry was free for women before 1 AM, yet they tried to force us to buy a table for 1,000 Dirhams. We don’t drink that much, so we didn’t see the need. If there’s one thing they need to improve, it’s how they approach and treat their customers — they completely ruined our last night out.
I went on a Saturday recently with a group of 5 (3 male and 2 females including myself). I messaged them ahead on Whatsapp (to a person called Leo) before getting there asking how much per head for entry. Then he initially offered me just to order a bottle of liquor then he will let my group enter to the nightclub for free. Then he sent me the menu upon request. After looking at the menu. Minimum price of a bottle was 1950 AED. We already had lot of drinks for the night and we were not in a mood just to drink one specific bottle. So with explaining our mood I politely asked them can we just order cocktail drinks as how we want instead of ordering just a one bottle. Then he agreed to let all of us enter the club without a minimum order amount as far we order drinks. Then I asked him how much are the drinks. He said it ranges between 85 AED to 105 AED. Without hesitation I said that's totally fine. We entered the club after a while. Then, they gave us a warm welcome and definitely made us feel like VIP. That's not a lie. That is a must thing to mention with all the laser light guidance. We started ordering 5 drinks ( one for each of us). Somehow after a while they forcefully served us another round of drinks without our permission. We were a lil hungry at that time and wanted to eat something. So we ordered two meat pizza which I forgot to ask the price initially (They said they only have veggy stuff and suggested that one pizza is just enough for 2 ppl). With making a realistic guess I ended up ordering two pizza as we are a group of 5. We were hanging out there for a while and the music played in the club was 90% of Arabic and very lil English. So we felt like we wanna try something different and decided to go to another club and see. So I asked them to bring me the bill. Then they brought a card machine right away without a detail bill or anything. Then they forced me to pay 1500 AED. Before paying I quickly asked them how much was for pizza. They said it's 400 AED...
Nahhh this place is a joke. I never usually leave reviews, but this one I had to. Me and my girl pulled up to Avenue just tryna vibe. We didn’t even book, walked in and said cool, let’s grab a table and enjoy ourselves. Big mistake. From the start, the energy was off. Staff were giving attitude like they were doing us a favor. We’ve lived in Dubai over 8 years and never felt this kind of cold, dismissive treatment in a place we’re spending money in. They were super selective with who they showed attention to. If you don’t “look” a certain way, they basically act like you’re not even there. Zero service, zero vibe, just bad energy. And here’s the wild part — we accepted the minimum spend, ordered drinks, then they refused to give us a proper bill. Just said “pay and we’ll tell you what’s left.” Excuse me?! That felt so sketchy. Honestly? Save your time, save your money. This ain’t the spot.
