The Champion Club
Reviews
I feel it is important to share my experience at The Champions in JLT, Dubai, especially for other parents considering this club for their children. I visited the club several times with the intention of enrolling my children in classes. Unfortunately, each visit was met with disappointment due to a lack of up-to-date information. The opening hours listed online were not accurate, and I found the club closed on days when I expected it to be open. Additionally, I specifically came for karate classes, only to discover on-site that the karate instructor had not been teaching there for several weeks. This information was not updated on the website, which caused unnecessary trips and confusion. When I finally managed to visit during opening hours, I asked for more information about the club and the activities available for children. After being told that karate was no longer offered, I inquired about pricing and requested a tour of the facilities, which was not proactively offered. I was allowed to sit with my daughters, away from an ongoing class, so they could observe and see if they were interested. I had asked for permission at the reception, and it was granted. However, after only a couple of minutes, the same staff member returned and asked us to leave, stating that children were not allowed in the area. I was told that one of the trainers did not want my children there because my three-year-old daughter had made a joyful noise while hitting a punching bag. Instead of approaching me directly to discuss any concerns, the trainer complained to the reception, which I found unprofessional and unwelcoming. As a parent genuinely interested in enrolling my children and myself, I was surprised by the lack of hospitality and communication. No coach or staff member approached us to offer information, understand our needs, or even welcome us as potential new members. Instead, we were asked to leave abruptly, which made us feel unwelcome and undervalued. I did try to speak dir...
It’s very rare that I write detailed reviews. Believe it or not some random kid recommended me to go to the gym. Gym culture is cool and People have their own bubbly personality’s. Also the teachers actually know what they are teaching and tell you what you are doing wrong if you are doing a technique incorrectly. Moreover there is no ego in the gym. If you want to improve in your stricking/improve your fitness, I’d recommend this gym. It’s definitely worth the price.
Outstanding Gym Experience! I can’t say enough great things about this gym! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and positivity. The staff are incredibly friendly, making everyone feel comfortable, no matter their fitness level. The professionalism here is top-notch. The trainers are highly knowledgeable, supportive, and always eager to help you reach your goals with personalized advice and encouragement. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a fantastic workout. It’s rare to find a gym that combines such a motivating atmosphere with excellent service. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel inspired, supported, and valued, this is definitely the gym for you! It is a family run business and you feel that you’re a part of that family once you sign up
After my gym closed (post covid lock-down) I was looking for a new Muay Thai class and I am glad I have found this one. You can tell this gym was built by someone who comes from the sport. Well equipped with a ring, punching bags, pads etc. (but of course you have to bring your own gloves/leg guards/wraps) Its not a very big club but I like the intimate class sizes and experienced coaches some of whom are/were amateur competitors. Rona at reception is always helpful and accommodating. Its location is very accessible right by the parking lot, so its easy to get in and out. I just wish they also had some morning muay thai/kickboxing classes as well, otherwise the evening classes are great. They also have HIIT type classes however I only go there for their Muay Thai.
The best musy Thai / boxing studio in Dubai. I visited many but this one have the best Trainings and best coaches (masud / hossein)!! Highly recommend for beginners and advanced levels
