The Lana - Dorchester Collection

This hotel is simply incredible. Very beautiful, modern design of the lobby and rooms. But the most important thing: the service. The service from the entire team is simply breathtaking. I recently stayed at The Lana Dubai and was deeply disappointed by the experience, especially considering the premium price point. While the hotel’s design is beautiful and the room had a lovely Marina view, no one from the hotel informed us about the major construction taking place right across from our room. The noise was unbearable, and we were unable to sleep the entire night. The room features a large balcony, but unfortunately, it is not soundproof—something that made the situation even worse. What I found most frustrating was the lack of transparency. I expect a hotel of this standard to proactively inform guests if construction is happening nearby, giving us the option to switch rooms or make an informed decision—this is basic hospitality etiquette. Additionally, several other issues made our stay uncomfortable. The AC was not cooling the room adequately despite two maintenance visits, and we were told, “this is the coldest it gets”—which is unacceptable in Dubai’s summer heat. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room, likely from the AC, and the bedsheets themselves had a strong, musty odor. For the price I paid, I expected much better service and attention to detail. Sadly, I would not recommend The Lana Dubai and will not be returning

Staying at The Lana was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-tier – warm, professional, and attentive. The design and interior of the hotel are absolutely stunning, combining luxury with comfort in every detail. My room had an amazing view and was immaculately clean and spacious. The restaurants and cafes inside the hotel were world-class, offering a wide variety of high-quality dishes. I especially appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and how everything was perfectly organized. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Dubai!
