The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre

My stay was short (2 nights) but very enjoyable. I do not like how the Ritz brand charges additional fee for lounge access compared to other Marriott properties but it is what it is. As much as I love getting lounge access I did not let it ruin my stay. I was upgraded to a nice large room but as some other reviewers stated the rooms could use updating.

Check-in was nice and easy and the hotel is lovely with access to the underground mall and several food options to choose from. My only other complaint would be how the staff makes assumptions of the women that may try to join your table when in the sunken garden. I purchased a beer for another table and the staff moved the other table belongings to my table without even asking me. I had to notify them that we are not together and to ensure to not include their items on my bill if I didn’t order it explicitly. Outside of that the staff was amazing. I was traveling solo and they had me setup with a nice table so that I could watch soccer and enjoy my cigar. I like how you can easily walk to many restaurants and lounge in the area. I slept very comfortably which is important to me and the bathroom was very large. Thanks again and see you next time

I am currently staying at Raffles Dubai and working with The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah. As part of exploring other Ritz-Carlton properties in the UAE, I’ve previously visited The Ritz-Carlton JBR, and this time, to celebrate my birthday, I decided to try The Ritz-Carlton DIFC. My visit to the Sunken Restaurant was unplanned. The ambiance was lovely, and the food quality was excellent. However, I learned upon arrival that Marriott staff discounts are only offered with a reservation made at least 24 hours in advance. While I completely understand and respect policies and procedures, I was surprised that, despite the restaurant being empty, my request for the staff discount was declined—even after speaking with a manager. As someone who works within The Ritz-Carlton brand, I know how much effort we put into going the extra mile to fulfill guests’ requests, especially when it’s a special occasion. It was disappointing to be refused, particularly on my birthday and in front of my friend. We ended up just having a pizza and sparkling water, paid the bill, and left—our celebration feeling incomplete. The food and service were good, but I would recommend that the restaurant consider making exceptions to the discount policy when the venue is not fully occupied. Such gestures can leave a lasting positive impression, especially for fellow Marriott associates.

The staff and service are exceptional! This property is the epitome of what hospitality should be! From outstanding management down to every staff member of the Ritz-Carlton DIFC team. While the entire Club Lounge provides magnificent service, Richel, Ronald, Rehana, Chef Bai and Ashim consistently go above and beyond. Also extremely noteworthy in mentioning is Kelly from Concierge who took the initiative to extend a heartfelt extension of the Ritz-Carlton family to an previous member of the Marriott family alone and sick here in Dubai. Another exemplary example of customer care from this team. Shibas, Honey, Chef Arsalan, and my waffle chef always make me feel right at home with their unforgettable attention to detail. Sreeraj provided me with such wonderful turn down service that I'm hoping he's still there when I return. These individuals are what makes the Ritz-Carlton DIFC stand out in the Middle East. It's so good to have 'family' here in Dubai, and I consider the Ritz-Carlton Dubai home with family. Thank you Team Ritz-Carlton DIFC for the warm welcome back. I love you all!

First time staying at The Ritz and the first travelling with our 6month old son. Everything was great and a special thanks for Michelle Rivera who went miles above anything you'd expect from guest relations. She entertained and looked after our young child at breakfast and surprised us later that evening with a basket full of toys and gifts for the baby. Simply amazing and a real testament to the hotel, thank you to Michelle and the wider team for leaving a fantastic lasting impression.

I regularly stay here and my experience is always great. The service is 10/10. Pradeep and co from guest services helped decorate the room for my husband’s birthday. Saad is another great member. They all made my stay worthwhile, it’s like living at home, only better.
