TODA - Theatre of Digital Art

TODA Dubai, located in the beautiful Souk Madinat Jumeirah, is a fantastic indoor destination for the whole family. We recently attended The Echoes of Japan: Ancient Harmonies Meets Modern Fusion on November 29, 2024. It was a mesmerizing cultural show blending traditional Japanese music with modern sounds. A highlight was a unique fusion of Ed Sheeran’s music with a Miyazaki classic, performed on traditional instruments. The immersive visuals, soulful performances, and stunning venue made the evening truly unforgettable. TODA is a must-visit spot for art and culture lovers in Dubai.

TODA is a wonderful indoor experience for the whole family in Dubai. We recently went to watch their Kids-friendly show "The Fixies" and we had a great time. The experience and ambience are so good, and make it a perfect indoor place for the whole family. The kids' shows are 30 mins as they can't sit still for more than that. If you love to watch shows and animated theatre with your kids, then this place is a must visit in Dubai. There are many activities like quizzes and arts and crafts after the show for kids. So overall, it's worth the money and a perfect escape from the summer boredom in Dubai.

One of the most unique and immersive experiences in Dubai! TODA beautifully combines digital art, music, and technology in a way that completely draws you in. The 360-degree visuals and surround sound make you feel like you’re inside the artwork itself. I especially enjoyed how they blended classical masterpieces with modern digital interpretations — it’s a refreshing take on art and culture. The space is well-organized, the staff is friendly, and the overall vibe is very calming and inspiring. Highly recommended for art lovers, couples, and even families looking for something out of the ordinary.

A very unique viewing experience! I even told the staff, children’s movie should be shown like this. My kids enjoyed it so much. Though there were mishaps like the sounds does not match the video it was 3 seconds delayed. it makes the experience a bit odd. Also when we arrived at theater we were met with total darkness and waited in the dark for good 8-11 minutes, If my wife did not looked for staff they wont start the movie. To my surprise, a male staff approached me and said “how long have you been watching” we just came there and have not watched a thing. A word of advice, even though a family is the only audience you have, make sure to give them 100% because they paid for it and its not their fault they’re the only audience.

We went with our friends and their babies to see the show ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and everyone absolutely loved it! The showing was mesmerising and really had the toddlers glued to the walls that are screens. We loved going through to the little room at the back that has interactive walls and your coloured animals come alive. Now that is special 🙌 We will be back for an no child event next time 😂🙌
