An outstanding academy for Traditional Goju Ryu Karate! We’ve been part of UMA for the past 5 years, and the transformation in my son has been incredible. He has grown in self-confidence, discipline, and physical strength—now proudly holding a brown belt and currently training for his black belt. What sets UMA apart is its commitment to excellence. Students are given more than five opportunities annually to compete in high-level tournaments, including some at the international level—where UMA students consistently stand out. The students get a special training every year from a Grand Master from Japan, which reinforces the authenticity of the training here. Overall, UMA is a top-tier karate academy. Sensei Vijeesh and his dedicated team are not only skilled instructors but also true ambassadors of traditional Goju Ryu Karate.
