Very very disappointed with west elm dubai mall. Bought a king size bedframe from them and have clearly told the SA that my mattress i have at home is king 180x200. Despite being told that, he didn’t tell me that the king size they have is american king size and still sell it to me. Only after it being delivered just to find out the frame is 20cm bigger than my mattress!! The whole point of coming directly to the shop is so that we can get assisted in terms of sizes, material etc. It’s not my fault that i didnt know westelm uses american king size. The SA even told us when we enquiry regarding the size that west elm uses international standard size for their bedframe and didnt mention that the one i have is smaller than their bedframe. Spoke to the manager today and sadly she was more aggressive than me. Instead of stepping down apologizing for the mistake. She was arrogantly stating that it was a “miscommunication” that causes this issue. She even question me of having had the mattress before having the frame. All i want is just a refund so i can buy a new frame that suits my mattress size. Please take the bed and give me back my money. I dont want exchange as i dont like any other items from westelm and have got my other furniture from somewhere else. This is clearly not my mistake and you guys should refund us back our money.

I had an excellent shopping experience at West Elm today checking the quality of some sale items I saw on the website before purchasing. The CSR was helpful and understood the brief thoroughly. Some of the items I was looking for were sold out or not in store but he offered solutions and ensured I used the AURA app for a discount. In the end I left with these cushion covers and a “bestseller” patio rug that will be delivered to me soon. Their sale items are a good deal you just have to look through.
