The worst possible architecture experience.. beware. Don’t be fooled by the fancy offices. I was presented with very few ideas and had to rely on getting images from Google to try and give their team ideas of what could possibly be done. If you're thinking of engaging with the Company, be ready to lead the project yourself as there is very little proactivity or initiative from the team. You will end up running the Project as the client on top of your other responsibilities and chase the XBD team on a weekly basis to ensure they stick to some sort of timeline. Zero accountability exists. Company has recently experienced a lot of departures so what you will see on the website is very misleading to the status/capabilities of the Business today from what I’ve personally experienced over 12 months of engaging with them (I was a contracted client). My experienced was plagued with mistakes, oversights and inexperienced architects allocated who have not managed a project before from what I've seen and not responsive to requests for information to the point where the project became impractical to execute. Very passive staff, not incentivized/motivated to deliver a project from start to finish. Be very careful if you’re a prospective client and make sure you allocate enough of your personal time to monitor each and every step of the project (not something you’d expect when paying a huge premium for their services). Extremely stressful experience, not something I would have expected given the caliber of the previous projects they’ve allegedly completed. This was all communicated during the project and even after, with my email complaint directly to their partner ignored... epitomizing their disastrous service from start to 'finish'
