I’ve been a YallaCompare customer for over 5 years, but this recent experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. The sales representative failed to inform me about a key requirement that the vehicle passing report must be completed before purchasing insurance. I only found out after making the payment. When I questioned him, he was arrogant and unprofessional, saying he “assumed” I had already done it, and didn’t take responsibility or apologize. After I submitted the report, the representative stopped replying to my messages and left me in dark. I had to chase customer care myself to find out what was going on. This delay caused my policy to overlap with previous coverage, adding to the confusion. Then, out of the blue, I was asked for additional documents like car photos and a no-claims certificate, none of which were mentioned before. I had to follow up at every step just to get basic updates. To top it off, I was told the car would be insured for AED 24,000, but it came back approved at AED 20,000 with no explanation. For a platform that prides itself on convenience and service, this was shockingly poor. Misleading sales advice, zero accountability, and terrible communication. Not what I expected after years of loyalty. YallaCompare really needs to rethink how they treat their long-time customers.
