I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the delay in processing my visit visa application. It has now been 40 days since I submitted my application, and the status continues to show as "Under Process" with no further updates. At the time of submission, I was informed that the processing time would be 15 calendar days, with a maximum of 30 days. Based on this, I scheduled my travel plans accordingly. Unfortunately, due to the delay, I have already had to reschedule my flight twice, which has caused both emotional and financial distress. If there are technical or processing issues, I strongly urge the embassy to consider temporarily halting new submissions or at least provide transparent communication about the delays, so applicants can make informed decisions. I respectfully request an urgent update on the status of all those applications who are submitted in APRIL 2025. Please treat this as a priority, as the lack of response is creating considerable anxiety and inconvenience.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with consular authorities in any country I’ve lived in. My fiancé (a Dutch national) has tried contacting the Dutch consulate in Dubai several times by email without much success. I eventually called myself, hoping for help since we’re getting married here. Instead, I was met with a rude and dismissive secretary who showed no willingness to assist or even connect me with someone who could help. She simply said the email was forwarded to the Netherlands—which makes no sense, as the marriage is taking place in Dubai. Shocked, disappointed, and appalled by the lack of professionalism. We expected support and basic respect. We got neither.

I don’t know what happened, but ever since COVID, the service has been getting worse every year. It’s now such a bureaucratic place where you can’t get good service anymore.
